A few words from Kevin Pollard, the man and the brains behind the Babel Travel brand...

After many long months of preparation, Babel Travel has finally arrived! I am very excited to announce that Babel Travel is officially open for business.

Over the last 10 years, I have travelled the world as a backpacker, cycled through Europe, trekked the Himalayas and even did a spot of DJ work at the 2006 Football World Cup! During my professional career, I was an international tour leader, guide, and then manager for Australia's leading adventure travel company. I have been privileged to experience some amazing places and cultures and met some equally amazing people during my travels.

I have personally developed the Babel Travel trips based on my own personal experiences - Babel Travel is not just another adventure travel company, it's an extension of my own travel experiences which is something that I want to share with all of you. The main aim of the company, is to not only give a Babel Traveller the time of their life, but for them to fully understand and embrace cultural differences with the people of the world and find joy in the realisation that, what we have in common far outweighs our differences.

We have based Babel Travel in Switzerland to cater for, at first the European market and then support new regions as we grow.

The main difference with Babel Travels trips, to those offered by other companies, is that we provide adventure travel in major European languages (English and French to start with, followed closely by Spanish, Italian and German). We are very proud to say that we are the first to do so in the adventure travel category.

Initially, Babel Travel will offer 15, fun and affordable trips - whether you are looking for the Delights of Turkey, an Egypt Adventure or an Unforgettable Morocco trip, we have different trips in three different trips styles to ensure that you get the most out of your trip and travel the way that best suits you. Babel Travel plan to expand to other many other regions, in many other languages soon - stay tuned.

For all of those that have supported the Babel Travel dream; from Melbourne to Hong Kong, Beijing to Basel, Bendigo to Dubai (too numerous to mention, you know who you all are), I thank you all. I am privileged to have such a great group of supporters who have helped me make the dream of Babel Travel a reality.
